Good Standing
A chapter achieves "Good Standing" if it fulfills all of the requirements listed above within the deadlines set by the Chapter Relations department. If for any reason your chapter loses Good Standing, the ESW-HQ Leadership team will work with you to remedy any issues. Only chapters in Good Standing are eligible for ESW-run programs and funding.
Chapter Dues
All ESW chapters must pay annual chapter dues. Chapter dues help us continue to run all programs organized by ESW HQ. These dues cover the fiscal year in which they were paid, and include professional membership for the chapter's adviser(s). You can also pay by check, PayPal (banking@eswusa.org), or CC by phone. Remember that you can discount your dues by $150 by referring us someone who wants to start a new chapter (see below)! Talk to your CRC for more information.

Annual Report
Chapter Leaders will receive an email in the spring with information about how to fill out that year's Annual Report. The Annual Report is structured as a survey of your chapter's statistics that your chapter's leadership team is required to fill out. Please keep documentation about your chapter's projects up-to-date.
Chapter Check-Ins
Your CRC will work with your chapter's leadership team to schedule a call at the beginning and end of each semester (preferably via Zoom). These calls help ESW-HQ to better meet your needs (information, resources, networking, etc.), and help us keep tabs on your growth and accomplishments. More frequent communication with your CRC is recommended, but two per semester is the minimum.
Great Standing
Ten Registered Members / 2%
To qualify under this requirement, the chapter needs 10 members, or 2% of the technical students on campus, whichever is lower (and not inclusive of the eboard). We suggest setting up a laptop at a general body meeting and passing it around - chapter registration COMING SOON is easy and free.
Website in Compliance
A chapter is not required to have a website to be a part of ESW. If you don't want to or can't create a website locally, ESW-HQ is happy to help you build out a basic page on our website that you will have total control over (basically, you can expand your Chapter Directory profile to include additional static pages and link it all together). If a chapter does have a local website the following rules must be followed:
It must use an appropriate ESW logo (for more information, please consult the ESW Branding Guidelines)
It must have correct URL links to the ES-HQ website (www.eswglobal.org).
It must reference the correct ESW mission and vision statement, which can be found at Mission & Vision.
Projects Database
To qualify for Great Chapter Standing, chapters must have all of their projects for the year in the Project Directory. Entries can be uploaded here.
